keys
Today Jeff got keys for the store and demolition will begin tonight! Ryan had meetings this afternoon with Jeff, the mall people and some local youth leaders. We're so excited for the coming weeks as the build-out process gets underway, Emily arrives (assistant manager and one of my best friends) and the store gets kicked off.
You can see the store schedule here to get a better idea of what is going on, how to be praying etc. Mainly pray that Ryan finds staff, Emily arrives safely and that there are no hold ups in the build-out process. You can also pray that things continue to work out for us to have a booth at Way Fest 06 and that we are able to get awesome publicity for the store!
On a me note...I had a job interview today that went really well. I am excited to see how things work out. Looks like I will have a second interview with the CEO late this week or early next week :-) Yea! I am one stir-crazy stay-at-home wife... I can't imagine what I will do when I finish un-packing and setting up in the next couple of days...

happy happy birthday ladies!
Happy Birthday to........
Sylvia Mathew who will celebrate with the pumpkins and ghosts tomorrow and Allison Kirchner who had an awesome birthday dinner at Texas de Brazil last Friday! Wish we could have been there to celebrate with you both, but we're thinking about you and wish you the happiest of days!
Eploring new places...
Ryan and I are officially Florida residents... kind of wierd, but it is good. It is wierd because we never, ever thought we would live in West Palm Beach, FL, but that is the beauty and adventure of life and living for a purpose bigger than yourself. Ryan recently had an excellent post examining how even what seems like small decisions can impact your life in a big way.
I finally got the entire living room, dining room and kitchen set up and now I only have a couple more rooms to conquor. You can see my handsome husband working on the legs of our couch in the picture above. He's sporting his deflated Survivor kickball...
On Saturday afternoon we ventured over to downtown West Palm Beach and then over the bridge to Palm Beach to do some exploring. I have never seen so many Bentley's, Jaguar's, Ashton Martin's in 1 persons drive way. It was a little crazy and very beautiful! Many of the very nice houses of Palm Beach are situated around Ocean Ave. I am excited to one day have some surfing lessons; I think I would really enjoy it, although Ryan says he has no interest in joining me :-) We pulled over off of Ocean to take a few pictures next to the Atlantic.
