I slowly woak up today... made patroitic heart-shaped waffles for Ryan before he went to work...folded some laundry... ignored 2 pages from the most annoying reporter around ... I think I'm being a pretty good at-home wife today :-)Last night Ryan and I meandered around some stores at the mall while enjoying some Starbucks frappachinos. While we were shopping we started reminiscing about what we did for July 4 last year, and it brought back fun memories of sharing breakfast @ Panara\; visiting Grete at the Ft. Worth Zoo when she only had a week or so left of work before their big move to CA; 
seeing the Superman Movie @ the Rave; running in to Anthony at Target on his way to Channel 5 (I don't know why Anthony & Allison weren't with us for fireworks and junkfood eating...I think Anthony was working, so Allison was with her fam...); and enjoying the evening by hitting Wendy's with Jon & Grete, followed by a gluten snack/junk-food run to Tom Thumb so we would have food to munch on while we watched fireworks along I-35 in Burleson. You can see our mad junk-food stash to the left. Keep in mind that we had just eaten dinner @ Wendys' (obviously the four of us are really committed to healthy eating). I think we ate pretty much everything in that chair while watching the fireworks. It is amazing how each of our lives has changed in 1 year. We miss you guys.

Amazing how life changes, since none of you are in FW anymore. I hope that was your best 4th of July YET, and that some to come are even more special :)
